The videos on our homepage play from YouTube only when you press play; YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies then, under Google’s privacy policy. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play (ADR-046).
The site also remembers a few choices in your browser’s own storage: the split between the script and the marking panel, whether the comment bank is open and how wide (kept under your account’s id, so two people sharing a browser each have their own), whether to skip the confirmation before finalising on an assignment, whether single-letter shortcuts are on, and that you have seen this notice. They never leave your device.
